NextTouch ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.usenexttouch.com and the NextTouch application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

By using NextTouch, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and phone number (optional). This information is stored securely in our database and used to personalize your experience.

Email Content

When you BCC send@usenexttouch.com on a quote email, we receive and process the content of that specific email and any attachments (PDFs, images). We use this content to generate personalized follow-up emails on your behalf. We do not access your full inbox, read emails you have not explicitly shared with us, or store emails beyond what is necessary for the follow-up sequence.

Email Access via OAuth

To send follow-up emails from your email address, we request limited access to your email account via Google or Microsoft OAuth. This access is strictly limited to sending emails on your behalf for active sequences. We never see your email password. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google or Microsoft account settings.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment processing in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and plan information.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including sequences created, emails sent, response rates, and feature usage. This data is used to display your dashboard analytics and to improve the Service.

Demo and Lead Information

If you use the demo on our landing page, we collect the email address you provide. This is used to deliver your demo results and for occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including generating and sending follow-up emails
• To process your payments and manage your subscription
• To personalize AI-generated email content based on your quote details
• To detect customer replies and automatically halt email sequences
• To send you notifications when a potential client responds to your follow-up
• To display analytics about your sequence performance
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests
• To improve and develop new features for the Service

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate NextTouch:

• Nylas — Email connectivity platform. Handles OAuth email connections and email sending on your behalf. Subject to Nylas Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Handles all billing and subscription management. Subject to Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI content generation. Your quote details are sent to Anthropic's API to generate follow-up emails. Anthropic does not use API data to train models. Subject to Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — Database and authentication. Stores your account data, sequences, and email content securely. Subject to Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — Application hosting. Subject to Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — DNS and content delivery. Subject to Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Database access is protected by Row Level Security policies ensuring users can only access their own data
• API endpoints require authentication and verify resource ownership before allowing access
• OAuth tokens are stored securely and never exposed to the client
• We never store your email password — authentication is handled entirely through OAuth

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the Settings page, we permanently delete your profile, sequences, email content, sending email connections, and subscription data. Your Stripe subscription is also cancelled automatically.

Some data may be retained in automated backups for a limited period. Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

NextTouch uses essential cookies for authentication (session management via Supabase). We also use browser localStorage to save your theme preference (dark/light mode). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Revoke email access at any time through your Google or Microsoft account settings
• Cancel your subscription at any time
• Opt out of marketing communications

9. Children's Privacy

NextTouch is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
